Erin grew up in the Midwest and is currently a resident of Seattle, but has lived and worked in New Orleans, Houston, and North Carolina. From a young age, she had deep interest in art, science, and the intersection between the two. She graduated in 2001 from Wake Forest University as valedictorian with Honors in Studio Art, and subsequently went on to study at Baylor College of Medicine. She also continued to paint at the same time, completing multiple works inspired by human anatomy.
In 2005, Erin graduated with a degree in medicine from Baylor, and then performed radiology residency in Seattle, where she now practices. Throughout her years of training and continuing through today, she has been painting mainly with acrylics. Recent works have drawn on Cubism, movement, textural studies and color abstraction.
